Update: The Reds have won Game 5, bringing the series to 3-2 as we go into Chicago for Game 6 on Sunday.

After winning one on Sunday in Cincinnati, the White Sox lead the Reds 2 games to 1 in the battle for the coveted Bip Roberts Memorial Cup Even Though He’s Still Alive.

After the White Sox prevailed in a close Game 1, the Reds showed they weren’t going out quietly with a Game 2 blowout of the southsiders making it a one-all series.

The Chicago White Sox, managed by founding Divergent League member Travis Timm, have defeated the New York Yankees 4 games to 2 and won the American League Championship Series.

The Reds pulled out last nights game against the Pirates 3-1, winning them the National League Championship Series 3 games to 2. They will go on to face the winner of Yankees / White Sox in the ALCS, game 6 of which broadcasts Sunday, October 4th.
