The Divergent League 99 postseason rolls on, and we’re into the League Championship Series. A quick reminder on where we stand:
- In the NLDS The New York Mets defeated the Montreal Expos 3-0
- In the NLDS the Cincinnati Reds defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks in 5 games.
- In the ALDS the New York Yankees defeated the Boston Red Sox in 5 games.
- In the ALDS the Houston Astros defeated the Detroit Tigers in 5 games.
That means our NLCS match-up is the Mets .vs. the Reds and our ALCS match-up is the Yankees .vs. the Astros. Our first games broadcast tonight at 3:00pm Pacific, starting with Mets .vs. Reds Game 1 on the Official Divergent League YouTube account.

The 1993 Divergent League Baseball season is in the books, and it’s all over but the crying in San Francisco. The Chicago White Sox bulldozed the Giants 4 games to 1 in our 5th Divergent League World Series.
Despite an early Giants lead in game 5, it simply wasn’t enough in the face of Chicago’s offensive onslaught.
Congratulations to the White Sox and manager Travis Timm, this is their first time winning the historic Bip Roberts Memorial Cup Even Though He’s Still Alive.
The Chicago White Sox are now just one game away from their first Divergent League World Series crown after defeating the Giants 5-1 in Game 4. You can watch a replay of game on the new Divergent League YouTube page.
The game featured the very divergent visual of Will Clark slugging one out into Mccovey Cove and ended with the familiar sight of Kirt Manwaring grounding out to 2nd.
Frank Thomas busted another dinger for the Sox in the 9th inning, his sixth of the postseason, leading Divergent League Commissioner Phil Nelson to dub him “Mr. Sock-tober.”

A dramatic walk-off home run in the 11th inning from Matt Williams gave the Giants the 2-1 win in Game 3. Catch the replay on our Twitch channel. Williams had both RBIs for the G-men, with a Frank Thomas solo dinger being the lone run for the Sox.
