After winning one on Sunday in Cincinnati, the White Sox lead the Reds 2 games to 1 in the battle for the coveted Bip Roberts Memorial Cup Even Though He’s Still Alive.

The Chicago White Sox, managed by founding Divergent League member Travis Timm, have defeated the New York Yankees 4 games to 2 and won the American League Championship Series.
Congratulations to the Sox, condolences to the Yanks, and a hearty best of luck to the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago White Sox in the World Series.

After the Reds took the NL crown, the White Sox look to do the same against the Yankees. The Yanks are on a hot streak, dominating the Sox in the last two outings by scores of 7-3 and 8-2.

The Reds pulled out last nights game against the Pirates 3-1, winning them the National League Championship Series 3 games to 2. They will go on to face the winner of Yankees / White Sox in the ALCS, game 6 of which broadcasts Sunday, October 4th.
